The monument stands on a high rock,
by the side of the A832, and facing
on to Little Loch Broom, and can be
reached by a gravel path.

It is small by comparison with other monuments,
and is made of polished grey granite.
The upper part is a tapered octagonal with a
'fleur de l??' on top standing on an ornate
square block, also of polished grey granite.
These stand on a three-stepped tier of red
sandstone. There is a metal railing round
it all, but no gate. To the side of the
monument, there is a level area next to
the railings large enough for about 50
people to stand on. There are two cracks
on the upper tapered part. On the side
facing the road are the words -
