 The Monument is a pillar of grey granite standing on a similar plinth, with a Celtic Cross on top. There is a sequence of Celtic motifs down the pillar from the cross above.

Below that in a bordered panel, is a crown with the deer's antlers (Seaforth badge), then the motto 'Cuidich N Righ' in a scroll. The monument is located on the corner of the A862 and Hood Street, and about 220 metres/yards from the roundabout. OS map ref is NH543567 on Sheet 26.
