NORMANDY - Dingwall

The Memorial is a pillar of cemented stone, about 5ft tall, set in a small rose garden surrounded by a decorative fence. It has the Normandy Veterans Association (NVA)
emblem on it, but no names.

Location is at Dingwall Railway Station, in Station Square, which is on Ststion Road, Dingwall, and close to the other two Town Memorials.

The map reference is NH 552 592 on Sheet 21

At the base of the Memorial are the words -

THEY PAVED THE WAY FOR THE
LIBERATION OF WESTERN EUROPE
Erected by Highlands and Islands
NVA 60 Branch
