STRATHCONON

Proceed along a minor road from Marybank (with Passing Places) towards Loch Achonachie, going west for 12 miles, passing Scatwell and on to Bridgend and Milton. The small monument stands on a hill, opposite the cemetary, near a telephone box, and a Primary School.

It is a slightly tapered pillar, square-section, of light grey granite, standing on a two-step plinth of the same material, and then on two square stepped platforms of cemented stone blocks. Near the top is a crown, surrounded by a wreath.
Map Reference is NH309 554 on Sheet 26.
